Lovely experience, asked to be in a quiet area the waiter provided that , very attentive but not to much that we were

Arrived and advised vegetarian no one told us any issues but when we went to order it turned out most of the veggie dishes were unavailable so we had to change our choices were left with only 2 mains to choose from. Staff were friendly and helpful but service very slow - sat waiting for ages for table to be cleared and for desert to be ordered. Surely they could have advised us there was limited availability of dishes before we ordered

Food is terrible. Staff were hopeless to say the least. They didnt have half the menu. Mc Donald's would be a better option in comparison

Camperdown Elm is a lovely place to catch up with friends and have a good meal. The surroundings are clean and welcoming and the staff are friendly and make you feel welcome. There is a great choice of food on the menu and once ordered, the food arrives in good time and is piping hot. Portion sizes are good and the food is delicious.

I have been going here ever since discovering it close by while charging my car. I requested a quiet table away from others and the staff went above and beyond for me. Every time I have been I get what has now become my little table and the food has always been great. Excellent value for money. I had not been for a couple of months and went in tonight and the lovely staff not only remembered my table I like but my drink order as well. You simply don't get to build that sort of friendly welcoming atmosphere often in a restaurant. It's my new regular place to eat when I can. I have recommended it to others.

Came here with my partner and we both loved the food. Really excellent service with lovely staff who did their best to make us feel welcome. Only slight critique was slightly longer wait times - however it was very busy. Will definitely come back.

We have been 4 times, once about every six months over the past few years. The decor and atmosphere is great, the staff are pleasant and professional, the beer is great and we would like to use it regularly as it should hit the mark. However, they have never had the mix grill in stock which i have asked for every time and the food I have had is a little underwhelming. It would be easy to get this right, it should be rammed with customers! Please have your menu in stock or remove items from it, and up the portions just a little. I will try again in six months.

First time here, I had steak pie and chunky chips. very nice, then apple and pear crumble. Also very nice. Service was good and servers were polite and attentive. Great experience

We visited for the quiz night and had food. Service was excellent and all the waitresses were lovely. Food came out quick and hot and looked amazing. Quiz was great and host was good at creating a good atmosphere. Just a bonus that we won! Already booked for the next quiz night and can't wait to have more food!

Used to love it here .today was terrible .went in at lunch time when it opened .ordered steakpie .had none .ordered macaroni had none .ordered fish and chips luke warm .peas cold .fish full batter so hard and fish inside wattery ..ask for kids fruit plate for my grandaughter .did not have any .waste money .food was crapthis was today 26th january 2025

The staff were so friendly and welcoming, the restaurant looks modern and clean and in good condition. Our orders were taken quickly and food came quick, but I thought the food was not good quality at all
I found the adult and child portions to be rather small, a tiny dip bowl worth of macaroni cheese for a 5 year old he could have eaten 3 of them. The mains for adults were also rather small, one a curry and one a chicken pie which was the same size as a bakers scotch pie roughly. It came with 2 carrots and a hand full of peas and green beans. The mash reminded me of smash and could tell it was microwaved due to the skin and glue like texture.
The prices of the mains (roughly £14) did not reflect the quality of food.
It's a shame about the food as the staff, location and the fact they were family friendly were perfect. Unfortunately we wouldn't rush back solely down to the food, thankyou for your kind staff though
